The Menu System has provisions for fifteen menu options. Each
option may be designated as a page which may contain up to fifteen
options each. Access is accomplished by means of the arrow keys and
pressing ENTER or by User designated Hot Keys.

[ Add to/Edit Menu ]
Setting up the Menu System is accomplished through the Add to
Menu/Edit Menu Selections. Necessary directory names and program run
names are normally supplied through your software documentation or
during the install process. Either selection will bring up a Window
for Editing or Adding to the Menu(s).

╚═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝
The ] Menu Parameters [ Window is where your information is entered.
If previous DATA is present, pressing <ENTER> through the prompts
will not make any change to that DATA. When entering menu DATA is
complete, you will be prompted to EXIT, continue EDITING, or SAVE.
Pressing Q will not update the Menu.
Each DATA input line is a mini word processor.
HOME, END, INSERT, DELETE, and CURSOR keys are functional.
Along with CTRL + Y to delete entire line.
[ Program Title: ]
This will be the name that you select to show in the Menu.
To activate Hot Key function, the ^ character is placed before the
letter in the Program Title. DO NOT use the same Hot Key for
another selection within the same Menu displayed.
[ Drive Spec: ]
This will be the Drive which the Application files are located.
Entered as a single letter in upper or lower case. The Menu System
checks for Logical Drives A-J allowing access to other than the
immediate drive. There is also a check for P. This is a page option
that is available only in the initial Menu. The Paged Menu file is
created automatically. It is possible to render a Page inactive by
changing the P to a valid drive. Since the program only checks for
what is currently in use, inactive Pages may be lost during a Move
option.
[ Path: ]
This will be the directory in which the Application files are
located. Entered in upper or lower case and without the leading "\"
character. Pressing <ENTER> for this option with no previous DATA
will mean the the same as files stored in the ROOT Directory.
[ RunName: ]
This will be the file name that executes the desired
Application. This can be either upper or lower case and with or
without the extension. Input space is allocated to a maximum of
thirty two characters. Enough for some Run Names requiring optional
switches or file loading.
RunNames will work best if the filename is an .EXE or .COM file.
When executing a BATCH file, enter CALL and then the name of the
BATCH file. When the BATCH file ends there will be a return to the
MENU. With the CALL, the BATCH file terminates in the last used
directory.
[ Program Option: ]
Some Applications may require different switch options or may
be directed to perform an operation, such as Copy a file or files
from a source to another destination. Whatever the need, answering
Y in upper or lower case will cause an entry window to pop up before
the Application is executed. Space is provided for Forty character
entry. Any other key entry will be considered an NULL or N entry.
[ Pause Option: ]
On occasion there is the need to halt the return to the Menu,
such as when doing a directory of a Drive and/or Path. Entering Y
in upper or lower case will cause a pause before returning to the
Menu.
[ Password: ]
This option, when made available on initial installation
provides the capability of password protection not only to
individual applications but to menu pages as well. For security
reasons menu page and application passwords should be different
than that of password set on initial start up. As with the
initial startup password, all passwords are encrypted.
═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════
[ Delete Option ]
This selection allows the removal of a menu option. If the
option has a page option selected, you will be prompted as to your
course of action. If you select to delete the immediate option, the
page will also be deleted. Proceeding to page will allow deletion
of a paged menu option. An "Are You Sure?" way out has been
provided when selecting to delete an option that points to a menu
page. All pages are files with extensions referencing a menu
slot. Without a means of file recovery, the menu page will be
deleted and lost.
[ Move Option ]
This selection allows for re-arranging the top to bottom
order of each Menu. Pressing {Esc} before or after the first
selection will abort the move process.
